Maybe it sounds difficult, but through mytenta.gr it is very easy to measure the space in which we wish to place an awning.
Initially we should know how the measurement should be done. We need only two dimensions for each part of our balcony that we wish to cover, length and height .
As you will see in the diagram below, the measurement is an easy task. The first step is to measure the length of the awning, you measure the distance from one side you want to cover to the other. The second step is to measure the height of the awning, you measure from the roof to the railing.
We will follow the exact same procedure for the side parts where you want us to place an awning.
Now the measurement has been completed and all that remains is to select the system you are interested in through mytenta.gr, fill in the dimensions of the surfaces you measured in the appropriate fields to automatically find out the cost and finally with a click to order the awning you want.
For systems you will need to leave 5 points (cm) of margin to accommodate the system.
1) For Strips
To correctly measure the dimensions of the strips we follow two simple steps:
1. STRIP LENGTH: pass a tape measure or a string from the first to the last beam of the pergola following the path that the awning strip will trace (i.e. above and below the pergola beams), keep it taut and measure in cm. p>
2. LANE WIDTH: First we find the number of lanes. We measure the width of the pergola internally in cm and divide it by an integer number of strips (preferably an odd number). The result gives us the width of each strip. For aesthetic reasons, strips wider than 75cm are not recommended.
2) For Single Coverage
To correctly measure the dimension to cover your pergola with a single awning, measure the 4 sides of the structure.
If your construction is derivative, you will need to give us the dimensions of the diagonals (the straight line that joins two opposite corners), so that we can properly manufacture the awning.
- From wall to wall
- 2. We measure the width from wall to wall minus a centimeter or half in total so that it doesn't block in the event of an irregularity of the wall and for height we measure the total height of the opening.
- Outside window (not wall to wall)
- If it is placed outside the window, it can be given a width of 5 cm on each side to dress the wall and cover any imperfection of the wall. Here we must know that the fabric is always narrower by 2 cm on each side. So if we want the fabric to cover the wall 5 cm we have to add 5 + 2 for the mechanism on each side.
For example if we have 1.30 opening width + 7 + 7 on each side, then the order should be 1.44 cm wide.
The height in this case must be at least + 8 cm above, while below as much as we want. If we have inward opening windows, then we have to make sure that the roller picks up and can open the window ~ +12 cm to be sure.
Note:Please be very careful with the measurements, because the systems are manufactured exclusively according to the dimensions you tell us. Therefore, returns due to incorrect dimensions are not accepted. For any information call us at 2110123522, to avoid mistakes.
